About Fiona Norval – Wellness & Holistic Practitioner
With 30 years of experience in wellness and holistic therapies, I offer a range of services designed to nurture both body and mind.
I currently work two therapy days a week at Qi at the Quay, where I provide Hydrotherm Remedial, Sports, and Pregnancy Massage.
Please note, I am unable to take on new massage clients at this time, except for those seeking pregnancy massage.
As a Reiki Master/Teacher for over 20 years, I offer Reiki both as a therapeutic treatment and as a course for those interested in learning the practice. Recently, I have trained in Pellowah, an energy healing modality known for bringing about profound shifts in consciousness. Additionally, I offer rejuvenating facials that blend modern technology with traditional holistic techniques.
For those seeking relaxation and mindfulness, I offer private and group sound bath sessions, with three group sessions held each month.
I also teach Qigong, a gentle and calming practice that is accessible to all abilities, and we now have three popular classes each week.
In collaboration with Pam, I facilitate half-day, full-day, and weekend retreats, as well as various workshops to deepen your wellness journey.
If you'd like more information about any of my services or have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I look forward to welcoming you into our peaceful, nurturing space.
My Story
As a wellness and holistic practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of working in some of the world’s most incredible places. From luxury cruise ships to being an inflight massage therapist for Virgin Airlines, and as a beauty therapist at Ulusaba, one of Richard Branson’s exclusive game reserves, my journey has taken me far and wide. These experiences have truly shaped my path.
Over 20 years ago, I embarked on my spiritual journey, beginning with Reiki Level 1 and continuing all the way through to becoming a Reiki Master and Teacher. Seven years ago, sound therapy entered my life, and after experiencing my first sound bath, I knew this was a practice I had to learn and share with others. It quickly became a true passion of mine. I firmly believe in the profound healing power of sound on all levels: spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
During the pandemic, I discovered Qigong and after doing my first session in the garden barefoot I was hooked! I had a clear vision of teaching, which became a reality a year later after completing my training. I’ve never experienced a practice quite like it—one that can shift how you feel both mentally and physically in such a short amount of time. It’s been a joy to offer this transformative practise to others.
I’m looking forward to the future and excited for the opportunity to collaborate with Pam at Qi at the Quay. Meeting her at such a pivotal time in my life has allowed us to create something truly special together. I can’t wait to bring exciting new ventures and workshops to our beautiful little studio by the sea and share this journey with you all.
